Inkloft DTF Hot Melt Adhesive Powder is a high-quality thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) adhesive powder designed for Direct-to-Film printing.

Developed to provide a strong and flexible adhesion between the printed transfer and garment, the powder melts to form a durable adhesive layer while maintaining the soft, comfortable feel expected from a quality DTF transfer.

Suitable for both manual application and automatic powder-shaking systems, Inkloft DTF Powder provides consistent coverage and reliable melting across a wide range of DTF production setups.

When combined with Inkloft DTF Film and DuPont™ Artistri® DTF inks, it provides a complete solution for producing vibrant, durable and professional-quality transfers.

Available in convenient 1 kg and 5 kg packs, making it suitable for both smaller users and higher-volume production environments.

Application

Print your design onto the coated side of your DTF film using compatible DTF inks.

While the printed ink is still wet, apply Inkloft DTF Powder evenly across the printed area.

Remove any excess powder from non-printed areas before curing.

The powder can be applied manually or using an automatic powder shaker, depending on your production setup.

Cure the adhesive powder according to the recommended settings for your equipment and production conditions. The powder should melt evenly to create a smooth, continuous adhesive layer without excessive bubbling or scorching.

Heat Press Application

As a starting point, we recommend:

• Temperature: 150–160°C
• Time: 10–15 seconds
• Pressure: Medium
• Peel: Immediate hot peel when used with Inkloft Instant Hot Peel DTF Film

Pressing conditions can vary depending on the garment, film, ink, powder application and heat press. Always carry out a test transfer before commencing full production.

For maximum durability, ensure the adhesive powder is completely and evenly melted before transferring the design.

Compatible With

Inkloft DTF Powder is designed for use with DTF printing systems using compatible DTF inks and films.

For the best results, we recommend pairing it with Inkloft Instant Hot Peel DTF Film and DuPont™ Artistri® DTF inks.

1 kg – ideal for smaller production environments and regular users
5 kg – economical format for higher-volume DTF production

Storage

Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Keep the powder container tightly sealed when not in use. Avoid exposure to high humidity, as moisture can affect powder flow and application performance.
